April was a really good month for me. For starters, I read seven amazing books, which is a lot considering I’ve been so behind lately, and reached 2k on Instagram! Oh and I also had a much needed spring break halfway through the month of which my family went and visited some friends then did a little bit of camping. Thanks to that break, I was able to read quite a few books, which was really nice. Overall, April was a pretty good month for me, reading wise and life wise! Thankfully, my May has been off to a great start as well!
It Started with Goodbye by Christina June 4/5 – I really enjoyed it Started with Goodbye! You can read my full review here.
Duels and Deception by Cindy Anstey 3/5 – This book was fun and enjoyable, not my favorite, but I still enjoyed it.
How to Make a Wish by Ashley Herring Blake 5/5 – Aw man, this book guys *cries* It was such a beautiful, emotional story, I loved it. You can read my full review here.
Alex and Eliza by Melissa De La Cruz 4/5 – I will admit this book did not meet my expectations, but I still enjoyed it. It was sweet, fun, and light.
Frozen Tides by Morgan Rhodes 5/5 – Okay this book was actually amazing. I can’t believe I let it sit on my shelves for so long because it was so much better than I ever hoped it would be.
Crystal Storm by Morgan Rhodes 5/5 – I think Frozen Tides is my favorite in the series, but I absolutely loved Crystal Storm! I’m currently dying as I wait for the next book.
I also read a few books for school that I did not include in this list.
This month I bought around four books, I believe.
Alex and Eliza by Melissa De La Cruz
A Crown of Wishes by Roshani Chokshi
Given to the Sea by Mindy McGinnis
The Upside of Unrequited by Becky Albertalli
How many books did you read this month? Which was your favorite? And how many did you buy?
I have it started with goodbye on my TBR so I can’t wait to read that one but I hope you enjoy the upside of unrequited! I absolutely LOVED it! Great wrap up
Aw, congratulations on 2k followers on Instagram! I love your feed, so it’s totally deserved! 😀
I’m glad to see you’ve enjoyed the last two books in the Falling Kingdoms series. I binged through the first three, loved them, and then failed to catch up with the other two. Hopefully, I can get to them before the finale comes out this year. XD
Wow – you got through so many books. I have Duels and Deception on my TBR pile for this month, so glad to hear you enjoyed it. Also curious to hear what you think of A crown of wishes, thats also on my wishlist 🙂
